Cypress Gardens

For a few years I have wanted to go with Eric to the Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner to do a self guided boat ride. This place is known for the iconic scene in “The Notebook,” with the boat rowing and the swans. It truly is beautiful and lived up to the hype.

It was free with our admission. ($10 per adult.) There are also trails and playgrounds and pic nic shelters. It was quiet and peaceful and so beautiful. You can do a guided boat tour also with others for an additional $5/pp.

I can’t wait to return with Ellie and Elias one day. I can hear Ellie now, “Mama! It’s like Claude Monet!” And she would be correct. Lovely! Make it part of your lowcountry adventure!
