Do you have friends who are really just family with different DNA? I do!
I love my people. When you’re my person then you’re really someone who has all of me - good and bad. Lucky you. Ha! But seriously, God has so blessed me with true and real and deep friendships that go beyond any measure. I have quite a few of these precious relationships and I had the privilege of vacationing with three of these such people and their fams this summer.
Hardy/Jameson/Skinner/Gladden family beach week was a blast! I only wish ALL my people could be there together!
We just flow well together. There’s no junk, no effort, just love, raw real truth, and humanity, and lots and lots of laughter. Just 4 happy homeschooling, husband loving, Jesus praising, non conforming mamas trying to raise some Kingdom Warrior babies. Truly love them as my own flesh and blood. That’s why when we get together we call it “family dinner.”
Raising babies alongside like minded realistic raw people is so life giving.
It is fun. It is healing. It is strengthening. And it is joyous caos!
