Elias - 6 months

He’s half a year! This is going so fast! Everything about Elias has been different from Ellie. He is losing weight now that he is very mobile- he is 18 lbs and growing taller every day at 27 & 5/8 in tall!

Elias really only cries when he has a need. Otherwise you’ll find him just chilling or smiling or playing. He goes with the flow. He is laid back and happy. He has so much of his daddy in him both is nature and in appearance. He looks just like Eric but with my complexion- fair, blond, blue eyes.

Elias is so strong!! He rolls and scoots around, he is already taking steps when holding hands or his walker toy. Wondering if he may actually walk before crawling? Although he has been trying to crawl more too!

I do think his teeth on the bottom are SO CLOSE to busting out! I can’t wait to see them! 😍

He eats all the dang time and loves table food! We give him just about anything as long as it is easily mashed up.

This month, Elias got to go to Great Wolf Lodge. Last time he went he was in my tummy. He loved splashing in the water! He is a water loving baby.

His hair is growing longer and blonder every day and it is so soft and precious!

He loves listening to sounds and sensory play. He enjoys music and movement and finger play songs. He just thinks “The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” is the greatest thing! He is very ticklish and loves for us to give him a tickle attack!

He loves story time at Rye Patch in Aiken out on the lawn.

He loves outdoors and has enjoyed a visit to a couple of farms and hayrides and corn fields.

He went to see his first play, “Pinocchio,” and he watched intently the entire production!

And lastly, he so sweetly just reaches and holds my face and sometimes puts his hands on my lips for kisses and my heart never felt so warm! 😍

Happy half a year, handsome buddy! We love you!
